For years, we have struggled to get the ear of the media, which the Nova Scotian government threatens and stifles. But we do want to acknowledge the few brave media personalities who have dared to speak out on the issues or have given us a platform to speak. Many of the players in this dysfunctional system, that extends far beyond the Department of Children Services and Children’s Aid Societies, know the psychology of controlling the masses.
